HYDROPHOBIC BREATHABLE FABRIC VIA ELETROCSPRAYING TECHNOLOGY
Original language description
Coating method is the common method to modify the surface of the fabric and the main technologies includes the dip-dop coating, spinning coating, electrospinning, sputtering coating etc. However, the superior surface property of the fabric is obtained with the company of the unideal breathability or the signi!cant reduce in the breathability[1]. In this work, the electrospraying technology was used to prepare a polytetra“uoroethylene (PTFE) coating layer on the viscose fabric. The hydrophobic property was investigated by measuring the water contact angle (WCA). The breathability of the PTFE-coated viscose fabric was evaluated by measuring air permeability (AP) and the water vapor permeability (WVP).
