The methods for evaluation of mixing degree in blended yarns are described. The configurations of fibers constructed from sequences in the yarn cross section are analyzed by using of runs theory. The I.B.I. ( index of blend irregularity) index for estimation of local composition variation between cells of suitable constructed matrix is used.
