On mathematical approach to circle fiting problem in the analysis of RICH detector data.
Original language description
The paper describes a couple of methods solving the Cherenkov rings detection and fitting problem connected with the analysis of RICH detector data. First, a procedure of the global search for the reings and of their fitting is presented. It is based onthe statistical methods and probabilistic models. Further, a more general problem of detection of point objects in the plane is considered and statistical moving window solution is proposed. The paper also describes a procedure for the simulation of RICHdetector data.
