Somatic profiles of prepubescent and pubescent individuals with various motor performance
Original language description
The aim of the study was to compare with normative values of the Czech population the somatic characteristics of prepubescent and pubescent individuals (8-9 and 12-13 years old) with low and high motor performance. In pre-pubescent and pubescent individuals the NI values of both the samples with high motor performance belong to the average band. The measured high performance samples do not significantly differ from the population´s values. We have not proved any significant inter-sexual differences between the somatic characteristics of the samples with high motor performance. The NI of the samples with low motor performance are characterised by quite a big extent from average population´s band to extremely above-average band, especially in the male sample and at the pubescent age.
