Original language description
The paper is focused on the experimental exploration of electromechanical characteristics of a new ferroelectric ceramics Ba2NdTi2Nb3O15. From the ultrasonic measurement, the velocity of the signal, going through the sample, of both longitudinal and shear ultrasonic waves were determined. Velocites of ultrasound wave propagation in presence of an external DC electric field were also observed. We discuss the values of corrensponding elastic moduli of the piezoelectric ceramics PZT, which were measured also by the ultrasonic method.
