Original language description
This article describes a parallel algorithm for solving scalar nonstationary convection-diffusion equation with the aid of discontinuous Galerkin method. The parallel algorithm consists of domain decomposition techniques and a semi-implicit treatment oflocal subproblems with interface conditions. At each time level, we solve a set of local linear algebraic systems instead of one global system. Results of numerical experiments are presented.
