We present a case of a 32-year old patient with a history of chronic fatigue due to functional impairment of sinoatrial (SA) and atrioventricular (AV) nodes, except palpitations caused by paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia. During the electrophysiological examination significant sinusoidal and connective bradycardia was observed and typical AV reconstructed tachycardia (AVNRT) was induced. Due to the temporary complete AV block after the first use of radio frequency energy in the slow path, the procedure was abandoned. However, the patient was offered a recurrent procedure to modulate SA and AV nodal function with cardiorelaxation followed by AVNRT ablation.
