Using a Geochemical Model for Interpretation of a Laboratory Experiment
Original language description
Experiments of dissolution of crushed granite in water were done. Crushed granite and water samples were analyzed. We simulate chemical evolution of water solution which is in contact with crushed granite. We are focusing on few governing chemical interactions between water and granite. We introduce the chemical-reactive model. Results of model are compared with chemical analysis. Only kinetic constants of minerals dissolution are calibrated parameters. We compare values of calibrated parameters with values from literature.
