Original language description
The article deals with the experimental and numerical analysis of composite sam-ples and compares their mechanical properties during barrier tests. Composite structures are now increasingly used for their properties in all areas of industrial productionwhere high specific strength is demanded. There was developed differ-ent variants of bi-layer samples. The samples differed in the layer orientation and bonding between the layers. For composite samples, the stress concentration de-pends on the orientation of the fiber layers thanks to fiber reinforcement. Knowl-edge of behaviour of simple synergies between the fibres and the matrix allows the prediction of behaviour of complex components and their application in prac-tice. Carbon composite samples werestudied in laboratory of applied mechanics during dynamic impact.
