  • Original language description

    The object of the invention is achieved by a sound absorbing composition comprising a resonance membrane formed by a layer of polymeric nanofibres that is attached to the frame. The resonance membrane is then subjected to low frequency sound waves, with the kinetic energy of the membrane being transformed into the thermal energy by friction of the individual nanofibres, friction of the membrane by the ambient air, and possibly other layers of material arranged in its vicinity, it transmits to the frame, so that the oscillation of the resonant membrane dampens. No licence.
