    Ensuring public safety and protection of essential security interests is one of the main tasks of the state. Ensuring of the safety of human lives, health, environment, property and public welfare is directly subject to the functionality of the web of physical, cyber and organizational systems, which are a critical infrastructure in the state. Today's modern society is completely dependent on well-functioning infrastructure that can provide and satisfy the essential needs of the technological security sufficient quantity drinking water, food, supplies electricity, heat, and others. In 2010, the Czech Republic has started a program of research dealing with the protection, safety, and increasing the resilience of critical infrastructure areas.
