The result is a functional turning head, which is equipped with adjustment components that allow to match the optical and mechanical axis of the component - it is a combination of feeds and tilts. The setting control is designed on the principle of reflective centricity. The lenses are first glued to mechanical sleeves. This sleeve is then clamped in a special clamping turning head. This head allows fine adjustment of the workpiece by means of integrated feeds and tilts. The matching of the optical and mechanical axes is evaluated using an autocollimator and special software. Subsequently, the functional surfaces of the sleeve are machined very precisely.
