Original language description
One-side trial weld joint of W type was prepared from P92 type steel using GTAW & SMAW method in conditions used in idustrial praxis for production and repairing of parts of power plants. Creep test to the rupture of smooth cross-weld samples has been carried out. Fractographic analysis, hardness measurement and detailed study of submicrostructure have been performed . Changes of microstructure were correlated with the creep strength. Critical zone from a point of view of the creep failure is located inthe fine prior austenite grain heat affected zone and in the overheated zone of the base material.
