The paper demonstrates the operational stress analysis, performed on the strip mine conveyer drive. The damage has occurred at the second installed gear box. According the long term test it has been found, that the damage was probably caused due to the different breaking moment, introduced on both drives. The examples of measured time histories as well as the evaluation and comparison of measured data are presented, too.
