    Using a friction sensor in experimental stress analysis

    In Proceedings of Experimental stress analysis 2025. With the strain checker the strain is measured using frictional force working on the contact surface of the frictional strain gauge by pressing the gauge against the structure with magnetic force. The aim of this work is to determine the stability of the sensor during a long-term test, the possibility of measuring stress amplitudes during a cyclic test, and to show the use of this sensor in measuring structural stress during a dynamic test of a towing device.
