Artificial evolution - a language-theoretic example
Original language description
Eco-grammar systems form a conceptual framework based on the theory of formal grammars and languages in order to study some of the structural and behavioral features of real or artificial eco-systems. After a short introduction to eco-grammar systems, some examples are given to illustrate that some of the phenomena related to evolution are reflected by this model.
