Czech Photography: An Anthology. Photographs from the PPF Collection presents a selection of superb photographs from the collection begun by the PPF Group in 2000. Though not a systematic history of Czech photography, the publication, in nine parts, summarizes the contexts, ideas, and people who created the extraordinary cultural values of the past hundred years: František Drtikol, Josef Sudek, Jaromír Funke, and Jaroslav Rössler, but also Miroslav Hák, Ivan Pinkava, and members of the up-and-coming generation. It includes plates of more than 150 works by thirty photographers, which testify to the maturity of the Czech photographic tradition and ensure the beauty and usefulness of the anthology. The volume was compiled and written by Josef Moucha.
