Book about four important Czech avant-garde photographers active between two world wars period: Franišek Drtikol (1883-1961), whos original nudes and portraits were markedly influenced by Cubism, Futurism, abstract art and modern dance, Jaroslav Rössler(1902-1990), who was inspired by Constructivism and abstract art, but his works also contains influences of New Objectivity, Jaromír Funke (1896-1945), most important pionner of Czech avant-garde photograhy, and Eugen Wiškovský (1886-1964), less known photographer of radical, highly original works in the style of New Objectivity and Surrealism.
