Original language description
Czech culture after 1945 faced significant political and ideological pressures, which were related to the establishment of so-called political system ?People's Democracy? and later with the emergence of the communist regime in 1948. We see efforts so-called ?democratization of culture?, management and control of the cultural sphere, which then resulted in the establishment of ideological criteria modeled on the Soviet Union. This trend was also reflected in the development of cinema, which was nationalized in 1945. The Communist Party control cinematography influenced through the Ministry of Information, the central party apparatus and other committees (Cultural Council, Film Council). Ideological criteria in the years 1948?1960 in an artistic film reflected by the current political situation.
