Vzájemná interference dvou svazků ve spektrální oblasti byla demonstrována experimentálně na výstupu nekompenzovaného (disperzního) Michelsonova interferometru excitovaném nízko-koherentním zdrojem majícím rozdílné spektrální šířky. Poprvé bylo rozřešen,nide-spektrální zdroj, tři spektrální interferogramy s frekvenčně-závislými periodami modulace spektrálního zdroje, ovlivněných disperzí proudového separátoru..
