This article is aimed at showing the strategy used in implementation of the social politics in Olomouc to the international community. This strategy is realized through two basic projects ? Project Olomouc without Barriers and Community planning of social services in the city of Olomouc. In the first part, the authors explain the basic tools of social politics in the Czech republic and definitions of the key terms in the area of social care. The second part describes the project Olomouc without Barriersthat is aimed at removing and preventing of the architectural, technical and communication barriers in the city. The third part is aimed at the method of community planning of the social services as a tool in fighting the social exclusion
