On a day of its entry into the European Union professed to adopt, without any unnecessary deferments, the common European currency Euro. From this obligation thus results that the Czech Republic does not face the decision whether to adopt Euro or not, but conversely it has to find an answer to the question, when will come the most suitable time for the entry into the Euro-zone. Within this context is in the Czech expert groups most frequently mentioned the date 1st January 2013. There also remains the question whether the Czech economy will be on that day prepared enough for the entry into the Euro-zone. We tried to find the answer to this question in the above-mentioned paper.

Je česká ekonomika připravena na přijetí eura?

Czech description

V den svého vstupu do Evropské unie se Česká republika zavázala, že bez zbytečných odkladů přijme společnou evropskou měnu euro. Z tohoto závazku tedy vyplývá, že Česko nestojí před rozhodnutím, zda euro přijmout či nikoliv, ale naopak musí nalézt odpověď na otázku, kdy nastane nejvhodnější čas pro vstup do eurozóny. V této souvislosti se v českých odborných kruzích nejčastěji zmiňuje datum 1. leden 2013. Otázkou také zůstává, zda k tomuto datu bude česká ekonomika na vstup do eurozóny dostatečně připravena. Odpověď na tuto otázku jsme se pokusili nalézt ve výše uvedené stati.
