Original language description
This chapter deals with changes of European Security Policy in the time of globalization. Responsibility for the domestic security of the European Union lies with many entities. A society is burdened with the part of responsibility for safety - citizensof countries belonging to the Union, functioning in groups of different kinds, societies, communities and institutions. Geostrategic changes which have taken place in Europe over the last couple of years, made as a result of two of extensions: the NATO and the European Union, in the considerable way affected the state of the domestic security of the EU. Simultaneously a sequence of new challenges and threats to the safety appeared.
