Original language description
Despite the widespread use of e-learning in higher education, little attention is paid to conformity of teaching and learning styles. The objective of the article is to focus on learning and teaching styles relevant to foreign language teaching. It focuses on autonomy, teaching and learning styles, their interface and particularity concerning foreign language teaching. The article also presents a short pilot study into learning and teaching styles conformity preceding a wide research into the field of study. The pilot study is to provide the first insight into the way learning styles conformity can be approached and integrated into the e-learning context.
