This article presents the results of the Global Economic Crime Survey in the Czech Republic in comparison with selected reported Central and Eastern European Countries and the CEE average. The goal of this article is to draw attention to the rise in economic crime related to declining financial performance as a consequence of the global economic crisis, to inform about the most common types of business fraud and to propose how to manage the risk of fraud.
