The information significantly influences the choice of the method for the valuation of company.The characteristic of the main informative sources for the valuation of company for the purpose of insurance was the goal of paper. The method of analysis for the elaboration of external and internal informative sources about the valuation company for the purpose ofinsurance was used. The result of the paper is the compilation of survey of the information sources for need of insurance of company. The practical instruction for the collection of correct dates for the objective assessment of the value of company is the result of the paper, too.
