Social Policies in Cyech Republic in the Context of the EU
Original language description
Social and employment policies play is in the enlarged European Union, an important role. The paper highlights the main legal basis for social policy, which is the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, Title X of the Social Policy. Its aim isto promote employment, improved living and working conditions, so as to make possible their harmonization while maintaining their high level, proper social protection, social dialogue, development of human resources view to lasting high employment and the combating of exclusion. The author specifies the applicable standard legislative instruments. Author describes the main financial instrument, for example the European Social Fund (ESF), but also other instruments such as the European Fund for Globalisation Adjustment (EGF), program PROGESS. Author describes the role of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, which not only uses state funds to achieve the objectives leading to increased employment rates, productivity growth provides
