Montenegro is a small country with a big investment potential as evidenced by the fact that Montenegro made a big progress on its path to the European Union in the recent years what makes the country more attractive for foreign investors. And since the country has considerable mineral wealth, untapped industrial potential and great tourism potential, there are good investment opportunities and many reasons to invest here. The objective of this article is to analyse the business environment, foreign direct investment inflow and its structure and to assess the investment opportunities and the attractiveness of Montenegro for investment in comparison with other countries of the Western Balkans.
