Original language description
Active policy of labour market is a part of the labour market policy. It is divided into passive labour market policy and active labour market policy. The issue of active labour market policy is the object of this contribution. Unemployment is a phenomenon which is made at the labour market and it brings a lot of attached negative problems. Present depression deepens this phenomenon much more. The aim of the contribution is to compare the approaches to the active labour market policy in Slovak Republicand in Finland. The contribution contains the summary of individual tools of active labour market policy and connected information. The common aim of both countries under the terms of active labour market policy is to improve the possibilities for unemployed to return back to work with the aim to keep it.
