The article deals with the assessment and evaluation of tenders in public procurement in Poland. The assessment and evaluation of tenders in Poland is governed by the Act of 29th January 2004 Public Procurement Law Dz. U. of 2010 r. Nr 113, poz. 759 of the Republic of Poland. Multi-criteria decision analysis can be applied for assessing and evaluating the most advantageous offer in public procurement multi-criteria decision analysis, namely the methods: the Weighted Sum Approach (WSA), the Ideal Point Analysis (IPA), the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) or the Concordance-Discordance Analysis (CDA). The aim of this article is to describe the issues of assessment and evaluation of tenders in public procurement in the Republic of Poland and of a chosen public contract regarding the construction of water network in the municipality of Rzezawa in the locality of Dąbrówka using four methods of multi-criteria decision analysis and to determine whethe
