This article is focusing on formation of sector of information and communication technology in the 14 regions of Czech Republic between years 2008 and 2012. Branch of information and communication technology is one of the most important economic activities because of potential for further growth of output performance and productivity. In this short, basic study development of information and communication sector during the last 5 years in regional economic levels is described through performance measured by gross value added, sectoral employment, formation of gross fixed capital, amount of ICT firms and also sectoral productivity. These analysed factors are added with other responsible and available factor mean number of sectoral coalitions (clusters,business innovation centres, science and technology parks and others).
