Social innovation and social innovation also known from the English original social innovation are the new tools, ideas, institutions and ways of working. These improve or fundamentally address the needs of society more effectively than existing traditional solutions that SME can serve as a source of funding for its development. This article aims to identify opportunities to introduce innovations that would be a source of funding for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the context of corporate social responsibility. The objective will be met through a description, analysis of secondary data obtained from specialized Czech and foreign literature and synthesis.
