The relation of some indicators of macroeconomic competitiveness in the selected states of Visegrad Group plus
Original language description
This paper deals with the relationship of degree of openness of economy and export performance in three selected countries - Czech Republic, Poland and Austria during the period 1995-2013. These countries belong to the members of Visegrad group plus andare examined for two reasons: the first is geographic proximity and the second is the heterogeneous size, which plays important role. The observations were being proven by using the regression analysis. Annual data were collected from Eurostat and converted into indexes. The positive relationship between degree of openness and export performance was found only in Austria and Poland, in the Czech Republic was demonstrated low dependence.
