Case study focuses on process of creating a knowledge base that will support an implementation of lean administration concept. The main tasks of the knowledge base are mainly the following: identification of level of waste in administrative processes and recommendation of appropriate methods and tools of industrial engineering to reduce waste in administrative processes. The knowledge base for lean administration was created in an expert system NEST and testing was done on the basis of fictitious data about administrative processes
