The paper concerns infrastructure development for industrial innovations creation and development in the selected region of the Czech Republic. Industrial innovations should lead to a long-term economic development and competitiveness of enterprises and also the whole region. Their successful and open creation, implementation and management are dependent on business strategy and also on external environment especially on the infrastructure background and its development. The main aim of this paper is to identify key features of political, economic, social, technological and ecological infrastructure supporting innovations, development and growth of businesses and regions.
