This paper focuses on the issue of incoming tourism in the Moravian-Silesian Region in the period 2012-2016. The aim of the contribution is to evaluate the incoming tourism in the Moravian-Silesian region and to compare it with other regions in the Czech Republic in 2012 - 2016. In this paper were used the method of analysis, synthesis and comparison. Tourism, not only in the Czech Republic, but also in the world represents an increasingly developing segment of the economy. Despite the growing number of tourists in the Czech Republic, in the Moravian-Silesian Region, there is a need to constantly seek new activities that would attract more tourists from even more distant destinations.
