This article investigates the financial management attitudes of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Visegrad Four (V4) countries and their implications for long-term sustainability. Through an empirical study involving 1,398 respondents, the research explores the role of financial management comprehension, risk acceptance, and effective management in SMEs' enduring success. Findings suggest that understanding and managing financial risks, along with positive assessments of financial activities, significantly influence SME stability. The study emphasizes the importance of effective financial management practices and positive self-assessment for SMEs to achieve sustained stability in the dynamic business landscape of the V4 nations.
