This work is concerned with the development of practical methods for restoration of species-rich meadows. One of potential methods for their restoration on arable land is sowing regional seed mixtures. The initial seed of 31 meadow species was obtained by collecting on natural meadows and after seed propagation used for creation of species-rich seed mixture. The aim of field experiment was evaluating the development of species -rich meadows established by sowing different seed mixtures and different sowing rates. The results showed different role of individual plant components during cultivation.

Czech description

Práce se zabývá vývojem praktických metod obnovy regionálních druhově bohatých travních směsí. V počátku bylo sebráno 31 lučních druhů a po přemnožení bylo osivo použito pro tvorbu regionální travní směsi. Polní pokus měl porovnat úspěšnost směsí různéhosložení a různého výsevku při založení kvalitního porostu. Výsledky ukazují na důležitost druhové skladby směsi.
