Physical Possibilities of X-ray Systems
Original language description
X-ray systems are the basis of security baggage scanning at airports. There are a few physical principles of x-ray systems as simple imaging, dual energy, back scatter, CT and diffraction imaging. These physical principles predetermine detection capabilities of the devices. The most powerful systems are usually relatively slow and expensive. The solution is a combination of two systems.
