The article deals with the problem, how to improve the psychological preparedness of citizens for mass trauma like terror attacks. The author discusses the dilemmas of such measures and points out current knowledge on psychotraumatology. She presents a statement that satisfied citizens have better coping potential for the traumatic situation. Evidence based conception of psychological preparation for disaster should use the studies of resilience factors on mass trauma.
