Evaluation of the operation in Afghanistan – potential for future development
Original language description
This expert study will identify the basic historical milestones that are central to the conduct of the military operation in Afghanistan. The first part of the paper will define all NATO sub-operations in general. The main focus will be on the analysis, which will focus on the last decade. The authors will also evaluate the approach of coalition members to the local armed forces, including the civilian population. These experiences are based on controlled interviews with personnel deployed in the military operation in Afghanistan. In the conclusion the authors evaluate the scenarios of a possible future development and a possible reaction of the international community.
