Original language description
The Czech Ministry of Interior has prepared a proposal to supplement the Criminal Procedure Code to include provisions which would allow the prosecution of those members of organized crime groups who cooperate with the police and judicial authorities tohelp detect and convict other members of criminal organizations. Those persons would have the status of "state witness" and would be guaranteed a certain level of immunity from prosecution, not a substantial reduction in sentencing.
