Original language description
Presentation of results of research project „Violent sexual Crime“ (VG20122014084) at the 14th International conference of the International Association for the Treatment of Sexual Offenders, Copenhagen, 7 - 10 September 2016. The paper brings selected findings of the empirical research into 610 criminal cases of violent sex crime, concerning 584 sex offenders and 796 sex offences committed by them. It focuses on the subsample of 157 offenders to whom the quasi-compulsory treatment was imposed in the analysed cases. The socio-demographics, criminal history and personality traits of these offenders are presented and possible implications for practice are discussed in the context of the overall approach to the sex offenders in the Czech Republic.
