The chapter deals with the matter of foreigners, migrants including illegal migrants, and with the share of foreigners in registered crime using the example of the Czech Republic in the context of the trends in migration around the world. Author pays attention not only to the numbers of foreigners and their share in committed crime but also to the attitudes of public toward foreigners and tries to show the distinction between fears of the public and the real state of crime of foreigners.
