Weird Treatment of People (Skull worshippers, Settlement burials). - Hoards

  • Original language description

The chapter deals among others with the manipulation of skulls, which documents the religious manner of the thought of the Hallstatt Period. Further are mentioned the so-called settlement burials and as an example are chosen two cases from Prostějov region. Authors also state, that people in the Hallstatt Period deposited items alone in so-called hoards. It was long believed that the phenomenon ceased in Moravia during the Hallstatt Period, but new cases document that it was not so.
