Identity and solidarity in the foreign policy of East Central European EU members : renewing the research agenda
Original language description
The core idea of this article is to investigate the link between identity and solidarity in the foreign policy of members of the European Union (EU). The concepts of identity and solidarity have become particularly relevant in the context of regional integration. It is particularly relevant to investigate the relation between identity and solidarity on the example of East Central European foreign policies, as these policies are rather new and, in contrast to other EU members, most of the countries do not rely on a long tradition of sovereignty.
