The Institute of International Relations organized a roundtable "Central European Security: The Problem of Reassurance". The roundtable discussed current security context of Central Europe with a view to the crucial problem of reassurance. The speakers analysed the sources of insecurity and efforts to deal with them. The rountable was organized in cooperation with the International Visegrad Fund. The speakers were Jan Ruzicka, Department of International Politics, Aberystwyth University, who was at thetime at the IIR as fellow of the International Visegrad Fund in its Think Visegrad fellowhip programme, Jiří Schneider from the Prague Security Studies Institute and Michal Kořan fro mthe Institute of International Relations Prague.
