China in Central and Eastern Europe: expectations, threats and opportunities. In search of joined V4 priorities
Original language description
This analysis is focusing on the intensity of Visegrad countries’ interactions with China, its resulting cooperation in the last six years and its quality. All this results in a divergence regarding China’s importance in foreign policy which can be observed in the four governments’ attitudes today. Based on the comparison of country-level attitudes, the authors have identified specific policy areas in which the V4 countries have shared priorities that could help individual V4 presidencies focus on joint priorities regarding China. Regarding these policy areas the authors also make the following recommendations for V4 policy makers.
