Prague European Summit is a platform for strategic dialogue about common responses to EU's challenges. It connects public officials, business and NGO representatives, academics and journalists in a dialogue about key questions of the EU's foreign policy and the future of Europe. The overarching theme of the 7th Prague European Summit was Europe Reborn. Within the overarching theme, the 2021 edition of the Prague European Summit ran two main spotlight themes. The first theme, post-pandemic recovery, had a specific focus on green and digital transformation and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on European society. The second, named EU relations with the outside world focused on questions related to foreign policy, defence and security and trade with a specific focus on questions of strategic autonomy. Discussions on PES 2021 also contributed to the discussion on the future of European institutions and Europe as a whole, as part of the wider Conference on the future of Europe initiative. The Prague European Summit managed to bring together and create a space for discussion for people with an active interest in European affairs. To support open and meaningful discussions and engage participants from various spheres in a joint dialogue, Prague European Summit held numerous different discussion formats such as plenary panels, chats, early morning sessions, roundtables, and Urban Talks.
