The paper deals with the development og the educational content for on line courses and it mainly focuses on the authors' work. The main emphasize is palced on three fields of author's work: 1) author's preparation, 2) author's work methodology, 3) Technology support of author's work. When describing the above-mentioned fields the paper is to a large degree based on the salution of the international project BATCOS, while in some cases it presents innovated solution originated on solving of the dr awbacks in the project solution.
